Resources

By the rules of ethics, the mediator cannot offer you legal advice even though some of our mediators are attorneys. We encourage you to seek advice from professionals such as accountants, lawyers and health professionals as warranted. Many lawyers will be glad to offer you a consultation for a low fee even if you choose to proceed without counsel. If you have retained a professional, you are more than welcome to have him/her attend the mediation with you or have him/her available by phone if you have questions or need advice during the mediation process.
